Make hydration easier (and cuter) with a water bottle you love

Even though the IDEA of drinking enough water should be simple… in the middle of a busy day, it’s easy to forget. It feels a lot easier (and more fun) to stay hydrated when you have a water bottle you actually want to carry around.

Investing in a good-quality water bottle - or even just keeping a 32oz mason jar nearby - makes a huge difference. It helps you keep track of your intake and makes sipping throughout the day more intuitive. (Bonus: you won’t be scrambling to refill your glass every hour!)

My favorite water bottle brands (and why I like them)

There are so many water bottles out there, but here are a few of my go-to brands that strike the balance between functional, stylish, and easy to clean:

  • Brumate – Just bought this one for myself (and then the same one for my husband as a birthday present) because I love that it’s huge (40oz), leak-proof, and still fits in a cup holder! This is my go-to hot-yoga water bottle since it stays insulated and is easy to sip. PLUS, it’s easy to take apart and clean all the parts.
  • Thinksport– I love this one for the adjustable spout. It keeps water cold for hours and doesn’t have weird plastic smells or flavors.
  • Simple Modern– Sleek, affordable, and comes in tons of pretty colors and patterns. I actually buy the flip top lid separately, which is easier to clean than a straw lid.
  • LARQ – Okay, this one’s the high-tech option. It uses a UV light to purify your water and clean the bottle automatically. And it connects to an app to help you drink more water. If you’re into gadgets or travel a lot, this might be your match.

A quick note on cleaning

One thing I’m picky about? Water bottles with too many parts. I get nervous about mold or residue in hard-to-reach places. That’s why I usually avoid straws, twisty lids, or anything that’s a pain to wash.

Mason jars

At home, I still rock the mason jar with a lid and straw. If you’re not ready to commit to a new bottle, grab a 32oz mason jar with a lid. It’s an easy, inexpensive way to track your water and keep it on hand - I use these lids and metal straws.

Whether you go for glass, stainless steel, or something high-tech, the goal is the same: make hydration feel easier and more natural throughout your day.

And here’s the kicker: if blood sugar is dysregulated long enough, it increases your risk for chronic disease. Let’s break it down....
