Last week I shared the Total Tox results from my unicorn husband - super low mycotoxins, heavy metals, and environmental chemicals. In case you missed it, here's the full post. This week I want to talk about what we actually DO in our daily lives that supports those results… because clean labs require work! These are habits we've built over years, and they're the same strategies I end up working through with clients when toxin burden comes up on their labs. Everyone's starting point will be a little different depending on what shows up:
How do you know if toxins might be playing a role? You might think it's not a big deal and that we're resilient as humans… but here are some of the common symptoms my clients struggle with that make me suspect a toxin burden: Skin
Digestion
Hormones
Fertility
Energy & Brain
General
What we focus on in our homeHere's everything we've layered in over the years and what I would share with clients - so you can see how much intentional work goes into avoiding toxicity. Air
Water
Diet
Lifestyle
Drainage & Detox Support
Nervous System Regulation
Reducing Toxin Exposure
None of this has to be done all at once - actually, trying to do it all at once is a great way to burn out and do none of it 🥲 The goal is progress, not perfection, and when I work with clients, we figure out what YOUR results are telling us and prioritize from there. In health, -Daina P.S. I'll be popping out on maternity leave soon (crazy!), but I plan to be back in Fall 2026. Strength training is everywhere right now - which I’m super happy about! Other than the obvious aesthetic benefits, lifting weights also improves many other systems in the body. Here's what research tells us about strength training: ✨ Muscle preservation outlasts other fitness adaptations - you lose strength more slowly than stamina or flexibility after a break ✨ Hormonal benefits - improved testosterone in men, better hormonal balance in women, which directly impacts mood and anxiety ✨...
Here's my first newsletter since having a baby 7+ weeks ago! I'm frantically typing up this newsletter while baby Teja is still sleeping... I mentioned on my belly growing post on Instagram that I would share more details & photos from my birth on this more private platform... so ready or not, here it is. We were lucky to have a home birth - it's so interesting how everyone has their own preferences for where they feel safe. I knew that I would feel much safer at home than I would at a...
Still pregnant as I write this... it's Tuesday 6/23 and baby is now over a week late, which feels like the universe giving me a lesson to surrender! Baby will come when baby is ready, and all I can do is let go and trust the timing... so we'll see when this little one decides to make an appearance! Last weekend we celebrated a small Blessingway. In case you've never heard of one, a Blessingway is a sacred ceremony traditionally practiced by the Navajo people to honor and support a woman as...
